JOB DESCRIPTION： Senior Acoustic Engineer

JOB TITLE:   Engineer  - Acoustic/NVH 
      
 
POSITION SUMMARY

Setup the test rig to evaluate the performance of the automotive exhaust system and

according to test analysis result combing the simulation of LAMPS and GT-power,

optimize the muffler inner structure to reduce tailpipe noise and exhaust

backpressure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Use and optimize various analytical and experimental tools to develop exhaust

muffler systems.
· Trouble shoot exhaust NVH issue and sound quality issue.
· Be responsive for exhaust muffler tuning based on customer target.
· Set up and manage test programs to validate acoustic predictions, analyze the

data produced and create standardized test procedures also for new testing techniques

and methods.
· Make preparation, instrumentation, calibration, documentation and set up of

test samples

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· B.S. degree  in Mechanical Engineering (with emphasis on acoustic, noise &

vibration, or solid mechanics).
· Advanced degree (Master and Ph.D.) is preferred.
· At least 5 years NVH/Acoustic related working experience in Automotive field.
· Good communication skill both in English and Chinese.
