In this conference, Self-innovation for auto design was the most frequency word for those speakers. Many attendees focus on this topic and discuss how to innovate, how to develop, what they need concern for some detail during design, How to develop a new project and process, How to use sources and operate for management, Products development and integrated products development, Planning management for large R&D project and IT realization, Vehicle development and simulation application, Auto bump and Passive Safety technology, Auto energy source and power technology development idea and so on. Following up those hot discussion, Many attendees felt although Chinese auto self-design start some late with a thin basis, Auto design grows up very quickly. They found some domestic design companies created some surprised fruit already. Those companies owned some international technology ability and rich experience in sculpt design and engineering design with the help of the latest design receipy and tools. Just as Mr Rong Huikang, Vice Director of the Expert Committee of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said, Although china vehicle design level has some difference from international high level, We can find domestic design talent, those designers and engineers actually have something and become more and more mature. We should confidence for ourselves and setup those excellent domestic auto design companies as our sample, continue to absorb oversea advanced experience and walk our advantage auto design road. As Mr Guo Mao Lin from FAW Group said, Chinese Vehicle Design will finish span within 3-5years, Many attendees agree with him. 

“Self-design & Self-Brand will be a direction in Chinese auto field. We'd like do some things support them” , Mike Ross, Project director from CGI, England famous design company pointed out. Thomas Ashton, Design director of CGI said: “First, We think that China is not only an oversea market, For us, In china, Not a simple receive projects then design and production and keep any technology secrets for our Chinese customers. We do hope to corporate with Chinese vehicle companies, use local source and engineers worked with our advanced technology and design theory. I think it can be finished in 3-4years for us to transfer the method how to design high-quality vehicle to Chinese plants. Of course, please don't worry about ourselves benefit mode. When Chinese auto engineers master our transferred technology, We will bring more advanced technology and idea to china. Meantime, Following up the grow-up of China, We also hope for deeply communicate with those growing-up Chinese designers and engineers. At that time, I do hope not just our output but procure Chinese little-by-little mature and advanced design and productivity, to service for other markets in the world ” . Terry Spall, Shanghai president from MIRA, Another famous design company of England, said that the change from focus-on production into focus-on design is a development direction for Chinese auto field, This is a large opportunity for Chinese auto industry and oversea auto design companies. 

This successful conference got a high praise from attendees.
